The tables reproduce the current YIHENTRA model label only. They do not convert Vertical into top-entry, or Right-angle into side-entry. The complete wire, tool, mating and board geometry stays model-specific.
BEFORE PCB OR ENCLOSURE RELEASE
Six checks that stay separate from the orientation label.

PCB orientation
Confirm how the terminal or header sits relative to the board and where the pins enter the footprint.

Wire or mating approach
Check the actual conductor entry, actuator or screw access, and plug mating direction separately from the mounting label.

Installed envelope
Measure height, depth, edge clearance, enclosure walls, neighboring components and cable bend space from the exact drawing.

Footprint and retention
Compare pin count, row spacing, drill or pad pattern, first-pin location, flange, latch and any board-retention feature.

Assembly and service
Confirm soldering process, tool approach, field wiring access, removal path and the fully mated service envelope.

Drawing and sample
Release the choice only after the current model drawing, PCB layout and production-intent sample agree.
Vertical PCB mount
The current YIHENTRA source labels these models Vertical PCB mount. Confirm the actual conductor approach, installed height, tool access and PCB footprint from the exact drawing.
Right-angle PCB mount
The current source labels these models Right-angle PCB mount. The label does not by itself prove side wire entry, mating direction, retention style or enclosure clearance.
VISIBLE ORIENTATION GAPS
11 Spring models remain outside both tables.
These references can support identification and data requests, but the current source does not confirm a fixed model-level PCB mounting orientation.

These sources support the selection method, not YIHENTRA product claims. Their specifications are not copied into a YIHENTRA row; the model tables use only the current supplied YIHENTRA mounting field.

Vertical and right-angle selection questions.
Does vertical PCB mounting mean top wire entry?
No. Product orientation and wire-entry location are separate properties. Confirm the conductor opening, actuator or screw approach and the exact drawing for the selected model.
Does right-angle mounting always mean side wire entry?
No. A right-angle product label can describe the relationship between the connector and PCB while wire entry or mating direction remains a separate feature.
Can a vertical model replace a right-angle model if pitch and positions match?
Not from pitch and positions alone. PCB footprint, pin geometry, first-pin location, housing envelope, keying, retention, wire access and the mated assembly can differ.
Which orientation uses less enclosure space?
There is no universal answer. Compare the exact installed height, board-edge depth, cable bend, tool access and neighboring components for the real enclosure.
Why are the Spring models not placed in either table?
Their current source set does not confirm model-level mounting orientation. A reference image or drawing link is not rewritten into a fixed orientation claim without supplier confirmation.
What should I send for an orientation RFQ?
Send the reference model, product family, pitch, positions, PCB footprint or drawing, required board orientation, wire or mating approach, enclosure limits, quantity, market and requested documents.
MOVE THE ORIENTATION INTO A CHECKABLE RFQ
Send the board, enclosure and access constraints with the model.
Keep mounting, wire or mating approach, footprint, clearance and tool access as separate fields until the exact drawing and sample close them.
